KEMPIRE’s Tuesday takeover played Macklemore’s full speech from Ed Sheeran’s stadium tour so nobody had to guess. In New Jersey he said Free Palestine, named Columbia students and Students for Justice in Palestine, and said criticism of Israel is not a criticism of Jewish people. P!nk reposted a Stop Antisemitism post calling it anti-Israel propaganda, then answered the backlash with memes and turned the comments off. Same live: NeNe Leakes looked great on Ultimate Girls Trip and the Atlanta edit still fell flat. Here’s what actually landed.
You Heard the Speech — Did That Give Antisemitic to You
Look, I played the speech so y’all had the context. Macklemore is on tour with Ed Sheeran. He said he wanted those two words loud and clear so people from Gaza to the West Bank knew they had not been forgotten. He thanked Columbia students, Students for Justice in Palestine, and Jewish Voices for Peace. He said criticism of Israel is not a criticism of Jewish people. He said free Palestine, free Lebanon, free Cuba, free Congo, free Sudan. Anything from that speech gave antisemitic to me? It didn’t. Ed Sheeran was not ambushed in a soundcheck nobody planned. This is a produced tour. Here’s the thing. I understand Americans have been fed a lot of propaganda for a long time. Still taking that same stance in 2026, with everything we have seen in Gaza, with political figures outside the United States calling this a genocide, I don’t understand why people cannot hold two thoughts. You can be critical of the Israeli government and not be antisemitic. Music has always been political. Just saying.
“You can be critical of the Israeli government and not be antisemitic.”
Pink of All People Who Wrote Dear Mr. President
P!nk of all people — the same P!nk who wrote Dear Mr. President — reposted Stop Antisemitism on her Instagram story. That post said Jewish fans bought tickets to see Ed Sheeran in New Jersey and got Macklemore’s anti-Israel propaganda. Awful. Concertgoers owed apologies and refunds. Then she doubled down. She did not write a paragraph. She posted memes. Being liked by everyone is a clown’s job. If they want to paint you as the villain, then pose. Don’t let idiots ruin your day. What do you mean, probably what I said. I’m not for everyone, and that has saved me a lot of time. She turned the comments off. When you have a platform of about 14 million followers, you have to be responsible. People were shocked that someone this ultra-liberal took that stance. I was really surprised. I saw the headline before I heard the speech and I was like, wait, what was she against. Then I heard it. Then I saw the memes. Lord, Pink.
NeNe Looked Great — The Atlanta Edit Still Fell Flat
Who watched Ultimate Girls Trip. We watched it together on Patreon. We were excited because these episodes were supposed to be about Atlanta. Shed Media produces New York and Salt Lake. That is why we are drowning in Lisa Barlow. This cast makes Lisa more interesting than she is. I wasn’t mad at Gizelle demanding an answer. Last week’s Atlanta episode was better than this week’s. NeNe seemed muted. Withdrawn. She sued the network. She has not done this in a long time. They brought her in on a queen’s chariot with shirtless men and then she got on that stage and the energy was not there. I don’t know if it is the edit. She did not look like NeNe. Lisa Woo was heckling and then hurt that NeNe forgot her name on stage. NeNe said she is a woman of a particular age. You could have named the OGs even if they were not there. Candiace understood the alter-ego assignment. Kim Zolciak and Shereé looked like they missed the memo. I have more on NeNe’s return at the live show. Based off the edit, they did not give Atlanta enough.
Todd Wanted Us Talking About a Movie Nobody Saw
Someone in the chat asked about Todd Tucker’s trailer. Same divorce lawyer as NeNe and Porsha, they said. I was going to play it. This is what Todd does. He wants us talking about a movie that came out over a year ago and a new reality show. For someone who has produced reality television, the trailer is giving amateur. Ralph. Dennis. Nobody likable. The Shamea scene sat in that movie for almost a year. One fan could have found it. It took Todd posting the explicit clip — and he has now taken it down — for the Bravo universe to even know. People are dragging Shamea for risking the marriage. Enough blame to go around. He sparked it. I’ll tell y’all the real reason Todd might be upset with me at Kempire After Dark on September 25 at The Green Room 42. Tickets before the show if you want the live stream. How do you guys feel — was P!nk responding to the speech, or to the comments. Drop it. Here we go.
