This is an update on Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s 15-year-old son, KJ. It involves allegations of abuse, and it involves minors. If that is not the space for today, sit this one out. No hard feelings. For everyone staying: Page Six reported that KJ Biermann appeared in Fulton County Superior Court Friday on a bond hearing tied to the Lifetime Gym case. Before the judge ruled, deputy district attorney Caitlyn McGillicuddy revealed investigators previously found videos on KJ’s phone allegedly involving a family member under the age of 12. These are allegations. They are unproven. Here’s what actually landed.

Hold On — This Is Why They’ve Been Holding Him

Look, this is not a full replay of the gym timeline. The public case is still the September 3 indictment. Seven felony counts. Charged as an adult. A 15-year-old classmate who described herself as KJ’s girlfriend’s best friend — not his girlfriend — alleged an April 23 incident at Lifetime Fitness in Alpharetta. She went to Wellstar North Fulton the next day. No male DNA. Kim Zolciak put out a statement after the August 17 arrest. He categorically denies it. She says he passed a polygraph. She called that girl a young woman. She’s 15. A polygraph is not a verdict. Next-day DNA is not a verdict either. Here’s the thing. People kept asking why he was sitting with no bond if the public file looked thin. Friday is the update that answers that question, according to what the prosecutor put on the record. That is why this hearing landed the way it did. Just saying.

“The thoughts of him being released scares me more than I can put into words.”

A Second Charge Was Already Sitting in the File

McGillicuddy said this would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind, which involves female victims. She added that KJ was charged with battery of a victim under 16 following the newly revealed incident, which had not previously been publicly reported. He was under court supervision for that charge since October 2025 — almost a year — ten months before the gym arrest. Defense attorney Jason Sheffield declined to comment on the new allegation. He has continuously denied the gym case. He previously told Page Six that KJ is not only presumed innocent but is in fact innocent, and that being held without bond is a tragedy. We can’t prove a courtroom from a hearing recap. We can say the prosecutor put a second track on the record Friday, including alleged videos of multiple encounters and alleged predatory language toward the victim. That is the state’s claim. It is not a jury finding.

Kim Would Monitor Him — That’s a Hard Sell

Sheffield asked for $65,000 bond and said Kim, 48, would monitor him because she is at home and not employed at the moment. That’s a hard sell. She lost custody for a stretch because court-ordered therapy did not get done. She needs monitoring herself. Both parents were at the courthouse. Page Six: they sat separately. Kim looked stonefaced and sat with 29-year-old Brielle Biermann. A stressed Kroy arrived solo and sat in the row in front of them. McGillicuddy said the victim in the gym case had suffered documented physical injury from the April incident, which she described as predatory, and asked that if bond is granted it be set at $190,000. A statement from the victim was then read aloud. She begged the judge to consider her safety before deciding whether to release him. She has been living in fear due to alleged threats that KJ would come after her if he got out. No matter who those threats came from, she wrote, she cannot ignore them. She is scared for her family too. Members of her family have received emails and phone calls.

Emotionless at 15 Is a Lot

KJ remained emotionless throughout the hearing, with his parents and sister in the gallery. Attorneys tell clients to keep it together. At 15, no emotion through all of that is still a lot. Sheffield had already petitioned last week on classroom work, football, scholarship offers. He turned 15 in May. An earlier hearing was cancelled, and Sheffield moved to transfer the case to juvenile court. He argued the aggravated charges carry a mandatory minimum of 25 years without parole, and told Page Six his client is expecting a not guilty plea. The judge said Friday she will decide by Monday whether KJ, at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, gets bond. These kids need proper therapy. How do you guys feel — does Friday explain the no-bond hold, or does presumed innocent still mean he walks pending trial. Drop it. Please give these families grace.
